Beautiful memories in Beijing 2012

Travelling is somewhat an obsession for me. Seronok pergi jalan-jalan makan angin kat tempat orang ni. Sambil jalan boleh belajar culture diorang sambil cuci-cuci mata. Hehe. Bab cuci mata ni, Miss Panda memang pakar.

Pearl Center 

 So, last year I went to Beijing with my lovely sistah! Kitorang dua ni memang rapat. Tapi sebab dua-dua busy kerja, x sempat. That's why, whenever we got chance, we tried to spend as much time together as possible. Nasib baik husband dia memahami.

Last day. It's snowing!

It was during winter time. Tapi masa kitorang kat sana suhu cuma around -5 to -9. Boleh tahanlah sejuknya. Tapi ok jer. Mula-mula x ada salji but when it was almost time to go back, it started snowing! Mulalah main hindustan bawah salji. Kelakar betul. Semua org kat sana tengok. Mesti diorang hairan tengok kitorang. Sebab org kat sana tak berapa suka salji ni. Cuaca dia extreme sikit. Tapi lantaklah, semua buat x paham je. Berdiri bawah salji sampai gigil2 barulah berteduh.

Forbidden City

Perjalanan paling jauh during the tour was at the Forbidden City. Mak datuk, adelah dekat 4 km kot berjalan. Almost tanggal lutut. But we managed to see through it. It was a historical place and the long journey was worth it. Paling tertarik dengan concubine hall dia. Tempat tu pada masa dahulu digunakan untuk pilih gundik2 diraja. Funny thing was, I kept standing beside the main entrance to the hall. Tour guide siap gelakkan Miss Panda before dia ceciter kisah hall tu. Lepas tu semua org gelak. Iyelah, kalau zaman dulu, dah lama jadi gundik raja Miss Panda ni. Boleh duduk termenung2 kat situ pulak.

Samseng Kg. Dusun di Summer Palace

We also went to the summer palace. Tasik dia siap beku. Tapi the guide reminded us not to walk on the ice, even though it looked firm. My friends yang degil2 tu buat juga, tapi oklah, x jadi apa2. It must look really beautiful during summer time. Sebab pergi time winter, so x dapat nak hayati Summer dalam Summer Palace tu. Yang nyatanya, the place was so beautiful even with everything almost frozen solid in ice.

Belakang tu Bird Nest Stadium

Antara tempat lain yang menarik ialah Bird Nest stadium dia. The place really looks like a bird nest. Kreatif betul arkitek and jurutera dia. Kagum...Kagum. They also have many intersting and unique building. Lupa pula kat mana Miss. Panda letak gambar-gambar bangunan tu semua. Nantilah, I will make post about unique building and show you guys in future.












So, setelah lebih kurang lima hari memakai lebih kurang 5 lapis baju tebal dan nampak bulat macam beruang, Miss Panda and the company finally flew back to Malaysia. The journey thought me a lot about cultures and opened my eyes to new things. It was a great experience.

Suggestion miss panda pada readers semua, pergilah melancong kalau ada masa, wang dan kekuatan. Iyelah, bila lagi kan?

My friend's wedding

As usual, I am always excited when it came to wedding. Biarpun hati sayu je tgk kekawan tinggalkan single club, tapi seronoknye lebih, pasal bila diorang happy, Miss Panda pun happy. So, my friend - Panda. Yes, you read it right- nick dia pun Panda. She got married at Dewan Masjid Kg. Melayu, Kluang last June, 29th and it was such a sweet wedding. Dua-dua pengantin sama comel. Sat nak upload gambar couple tu.

Cutenye. Tengok diorang rasa nak cari husband gak. Muehehehe... Tapi kan, Miss Panda ni kan brutal katak orangnya. Kesian bakal husband aku nanti. Ish...ish...ish...

The wedding was simple but beautiful. Miss Panda ade lah contribute hasil tangan hantaran chocolate (ecececeee...) but tak ade close up picture.

Lagi satu!

Panda tu selambe je pakai spek masa wedding dia. Hahaha...apa-apa pun, memang best. The food was very good. Tapi sebab masa makan berdamai tu Miss Panda kena duduk tepi pengantin, so makan sikit ajela.  Kalau tak...:D~

Panda and Miss Panda

Bukannya pengapit pun, tapi siap beli baju satu tema. Hehehe. Semangat weh. Lagipun memang lama dah attack baju tu. Problemnye cuma masa nak basuh, I had to be extra careful so all the stones and labuci tak tertanggal. Kudos to Peace Collection, Bandar Kluang (dekat Rebel) sebab ada baju yang I nak. Thank you.

Banyak betul kena turunkan signature.

Panda tak ambil cuti hari ni (Isnin), so bila sampai tempat kerja, mulalah acara interview. Overall, the wedding went well. Cuma biasalah, adalah occasional flaws kat sana sini. Tapi biasalah, adat buat majlis. The catering they used was Tudung Saji (opposite Dong Seoul restaurant, near Kluang Mall). The food was good. I especially like the prawn they made for makan berdamai. So plump and full of herbs. If the crews worked a little faster and more aware of the dining area, I would've graded them 4 stars. Jadi, Miss Panda boleh bagi 3 stars aje.

Bracelet gantikan cincin. Cun!

Nowadays, ramai yang dah tukar dari guna cincin, kepada perhiasan yang lain. Panda pilih wedding bracelet. Miss Panda pun nak macam ni lah. Merisik; cincin, bertunang; bracelet, nikah; necklace. Dah dapat satu set. hehehe. (dah pasang strategi, kau)

So, dah selamat sorang kawan Miss Panda. Dah pun jadi Puan. I pray to god that she will have a blessed and wonderful marriage and always under god's protection. Amin. I'm happy for you, Panda!

My latest love

Hi,

I made this blog like donkey years ago but never updated it. Teruk betul kan? I have no excuse but my own laziness and also forgetfulness. 

So, lately i know people went all crazy about K POP and also football and gadgets, but i found myself getting drawn by cute stationary and some other weird items.

Panda Pencil Sharpener

Cute green and white panda sharpener.

I got this one from the stationary shop beside the clinic that i went to last Tuesday. After seeing the doctor because of some medical problems, i went to get a newspaper and immediately saw this! It was love at first sight. 

I was tempted to buy a bunch of it! It was so cheap! Cheap like RM 1.50 cheap. However, since I made a promise not to splurge on things I want, I closed my eyes and chose one. There  are a lot other things I am sure will catch my eyes in future. I need to start saving for that sole purpose. What a goal. :P

Needless to say, sampai sahaja rumah, I immediately look for my pencil box and started sharpening all pencils I have (macam budak kecik). Since my parents were all too familiar with my weirdness, they just let me be. My mom warned me that if i kept buying stuff for collection, I wont have enough space in my room to store them. Hmm...nanti kena minta abah buatkan shelves untuk letak barang-barang ni semua.

Cute printed adhesive tape

Cartoon-printed gift tape

This one I bought from Popular Bookstore about a week ago. I always have a thing for adhesive tape so when I saw this I immediately grabbed it. It cost around RM 2.95. I have used one to wrap a present and it's really cute, especially when you use it on plain colored wrapper.

I especially like the penguin-printed tape. Anything penguin is cute! I mean, what not to love about penguins? They are small and clean. They even walk funny!

Oh, it's not like I am obsessed about penguins. I am actually a cat person. I owned a local breed cat that was never home lately, since I let him out as he like. He came back home only to eat good wet food and they went off with his girlfriends once he was done. 

....That's it. I'm getting myself a penguin!

Yesterday I saw a really cute small bin on a shelf in a gift shop near the restaurant I went to. I will go scout the place today as soon as my work is over. Minta-mintalah ada parking nanti.
